• The Cross – The unique, abstract shape of the cross is intentional. It subtly alludes to Christ hanging on the cross without depicting Him there, signifying that He has overcome death and the grave. This design serves as both a reminder of His sacrifice and a proclamation of His victory.
• The Ring – Encircling the design, the ring represents the Holy Spirit—eternal, unbroken, and ever-present, guiding believers in truth and righteousness. It signifies the seal of redemption and the unwavering presence of God.

Proper Display and Reverence

1. Position of Honor – The Sovereign Standard should be treated with respect and reverence, recognizing the spiritual truth it embodies. It should never be flown or displayed in a way that diminishes its significance.
2. Raising and Lowering – If hoisted on a flagpole, it should be raised with purpose and lowered ceremoniously, acknowledging its representation of Christ’s ultimate sacrifice and triumph.
3. No Defilement – The flag should never touch the ground, be used as clothing, bedding, or drapery, or be altered in a way that disrespects its meaning.
4. Illumination – If displayed outdoors at night, it should be properly illuminated, symbolizing that the message of cleansing and victory shines even in darkness.
5. Processions and Ceremonies – When carried in processions, the flag should be held high, signifying the authority and truth of Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection.
6. Vertical Display – If hung vertically, the ring must always be positioned at the top. Hanging The Sovereign Standard upside down (with the ring toward the bottom) is not permitted, as it distorts the intended symbolism. The ring represents the Holy Spirit, which is ever-present and above all, and must remain in its rightful position.
