Growing up in central Indiana, Oxphur’s passion for music was evident from a young age. His mother’s garage—fondly nicknamed “The Dungeon”—became the birthplace of his dreams, a space where late nights and raw ambition collided. It wasn’t until 2021, however, that Oxphur truly answered the call to music as a mission, recognizing the divine purpose behind his gift.

A pivotal figure in Oxphur’s journey is his producer, co-writer, engineer, and long-time friend, Ozzie. Oxphur credits Ozzie not only for helping craft his unique sound but also for teaching him the technical skills to bring his creative visions to life. “Ozzie didn’t just encourage me—he coached me,” Oxphur shares. “He taught me how to record myself, how to shape ideas through sound, and how to fully bring them to life in the studio. I wouldn’t be where I am without his belief in me and his guidance.” Their collaboration has become the foundation for Oxphur’s groundbreaking artistry, blending raw emotion with polished, innovative production.
